Coastal Rains

Coastal Rains Perfume begins as a fresh shower of Fir, Mimosa, and Galbanum. Soon, a light sprinkling of Genet, Linden Blossom, Rose, Jasmine, Lavender, and Orange Blossom give up their scent to the droplets. Earth notes of Sandalwood, Muhuhu wood, Ambrette, and Hyraceum finish the descent to puddle and leave the air smelling green, clean, and slightly floral with a distinct leather note.

Coastal Rains Meditation

Begin your journey by lightly wafting the scent of Coastal Rains Perfume around you. Then take a few deep breaths into your lower abdomen, and

It’s raining. You gaze at the windowpane, which is covered in drops. Drops of different sizes. Sizes that vary with the intensity of the drop's journey to the glass. You find a drop whose path interests you. You follow it down the pane – slowly or quickly – it takes you deeper into relaxation. As it completes its course, you spot another drop to follow.

And, as you follow each drop down and down, slowly or quickly, you go deeper and deeper. Deeper into forms, deeper into shapes; deeper into aroma, following it down and down; deeper into colour; deeper into reflection. Deeper and deeper you go until your heart slows and your breathing slows and your eyes close. Deeper and deeper you descend into relaxation.

The aroma of the scent creates images in your mind’s eye. The sound of the rain takes over your imagination. You float up and onto this aromatic sound. This sound becomes the background for the sound of your breath. Breathing in and out, slowly, and deeply.
Your body is feeling heavy and grounded. Grounded to Gaia. Your spirit feeling lighter and lighter and flying free; free to go wherever it desires; to fly on this rainy quiet day; a day to enjoy smelling and hearing and watching and listening; free to play.
Play for a while...
And now, the sound of the rain is bringing you back, back to this room and this time, time to awaken refreshed and alert. Become aware of your body and your feet on the floor, and when you are ready, just open your eyes.
